Current Occupation: Traffic Clerk (I don't direct traffic!)

Children/ grandchildren/ pets (names, ages, accomplishments?) Our daughter, son-in-law and our 8 year old granddaughter live in Orlando , Florida . They have lived there for three years. Jerry and I have a dog named Jake.
Previous occupations: Secretary
Memorable trips/job assignments/activities: Jerry and I have gone on two cruises. We will be going on a Disney Cruise this October with our daughter and her family. Last year Jerry had a business trip to Hawaii so I tagged along. We go to Gatlinburg about once a year and meet friends. Jerry likes to play golf and also enjoys woodworking. We also enjoy going to Washington , DC . That is such an incredible place to visit.
Parents and siblings - where are they now: My father passed away in 1991. My mother passed away in 1995. I miss them very much. My sister lives in Baltimore , Maryland . She and her husband are retired and enjoy traveling and spending time with their two granddaughters.
Regrets: I wish I had enjoyed high school.
Do you think that your job/life is where you thought it would be when you were in high school? Yes.
Why/why not? I always assumed I would get married and work in an office which is what I have done. Jerry and I have been married for almost 38 years.
If you could start over, would you/would you not make the same choices you did the first time around? I'm sure I would make a few minor changes, but for the most part I enjoy my life very much.
Favorite memories of Col. White: Graduating!
Future plans: Enjoying each day!
Retirement plans: We plan to retire, hopefully in about five years. We look forward to a lot more traveling and spending more time with our daughter and her family. We are planning on moving south, possibly to one of the Carolinas after we retire.
Words of wisdom/comments/messages for classmates: My hope is that we can contact as many classmates as possible and hopefully they will come to the reunion. I look forward to being able to see all of you! |
